As part of “On Weaving”, a cultural program of exhibitions, workshops and residencies dedicated to weaving, Lottozero presents a solo exhibition by Claudia Losi, curated by Leonardo Regano, with works coming from the collection of the Rocca Roveresca in Senigallia.
With Oltre il giardino Claudia Losi continues her investigation into the complex relationship between human beings, the environment in which they live and the language with which they communicate.

SAND STORMS IN MEDIO MUNDI I-III

Sands Storms in Medio Mundi I-III is an investigation on the element of the earth and its connections within the sky, inspired by the work of philosopher and orientalist Henri Corbin. This intermediate axis between earth and sky is explored through a series of large tapestries hand woven by the artist, in collaboration with expert weavers and textile restorers.
The exhibition is part of “On Weaving” cultural program, curated by Lottozero.

 

HANNES EGGER SECOND SKIN

Second Skin is a performative project developed by Hannes Egger after a residency at Lottozero in 2023.
The artist involves the public in a performative action that triggers a reflection on the traces we leave through clothing and the dynamics of appropriation and identification we establish with them.
Curated by Alessandra Tempesti, the project premiered at BAW - Bolzano Art Weeks in 2023.

 

UROŠ TOPIĆ ROCO(COCKS)

Lottozero presents a special project by Slovenian artist, and fashion designer Uroš Topić, centered around his large-scale tapestry "ROCO(COCKS)", a Jacquard-woven contemporary allegory full of meanings to be deciphered.

SOFT FEELINGS (PART I / ANATOMY CLASS)

Soft Feelings explores the intimate sphere of the body, its emotions, sensations and desires. The first chapter of this ongoing research (Anatomy Class) is structured as a glossary of anatomical parts, erogenous zones, irregularities and peculiarities of the body, realised with materials and techniques that relate to the textile world.

LOTTOZERO AT MUSEION STUDIO HOUSE

For the entire year 2019, MUSEION, Museum of Contemporary and Modern Art in Bolzano invited Lottozero, to curate the program of the Studio House, a project room annexed to the museum with the aim of hosting independent spaces.

Lottozero proposed a cycle of three appointments, each dedicated to a site-specific intervention by an artist, united by a recurring textile element, a medium with numerous technical, material and conceptual potentials, capable of conveying highly varied narratives and research.

LUCA VANELLO GENEROUS IMAGES UNABLE TO REACH

Generous Images Unable to Reach is a project developed by Luca Vanello over the course of several residency periods at Lottozero textile laboratories between 2017 and 2018.

Curated by Alessandra Tempesti, the project has been selected by NESXT Festival, and premiered in Turin in October 2018.

 

OCCUPY LOTTOZERO

Occupy Lottozero is both a residency and an exhibition project, and first solo exhibition by young French artists Robin Darius Dolatyari and Chloé Rozycka Sapelkine, who lived and worked inside Lottozero for 6 weeks.

SPATIAL POETRY

First Italian solo exhibition by Farkhondeh Shahroudi, Villa Romana fellow 2017

Lottozero presents the Iranian artist based in Berlin with a series of recent works created during her prize residency at Villa Romana in Florence, and four new pieces created specifically for the exhibition with the support of Lottozero/Textile Laboratories.

 

INSIDE LOTTOZERO

Inside Lottozero explores the use of textile material in contemporary art through an exhibition concept based on an idea of non-stop fruition, where the visitor is invited to spend the entire night inside the exhibition space.

Inside Lottozero was the opening exhibition which marked the beginning of our activities.
