A fabric is made through an interweaving of warp (which is the set of threads stretched on the loom, running lengthwise) and weft (a single thread that runs from one side to the other of the warp, across the fabric widthwise). The operation required to make it is called weaving. The way warp and weft are interwoven (weave structures) gives rise to a wide variety of fabrics. The three main types of weave structures are: twill cloth and satin.
You can experience the traditional technique of weaving on our artisanal machinery: a big loom with 8 harnesses, a tapestry loom and an artisanal machine to do the warp.
