Dyeing is the application of dyes or pigments on textile materials such as fibers, yarns, and fabrics. Different coloring agents are used depending on the type of fibers, fabric construction, required colorfastness. The dyeing of fibers, yarns, fabrics, or finished garments is carried out in the various stages of production using natural or synthetic dyes.
Our dyeing station is equipped with 2 sinks, 2 induction plates, a variety of big pots, brushes and spatulas, a fabric steamer that fixes the colors of the textiles, and a washing machine. We also have in our library some books about dyeing recipes in order to experiment with natural or synthetic colors and patterns.
