The Pocket Pursey is a contemporary reinterpretation of the tie-on pocket – a standard women’s accessory up until the end of the 19th century.

As many women’s garments don’t feature pockets today (or they feature false ones) the Pocket Pursey is the perfect solution for your outfits – it doubles as a pocket and a small purse. It does that by combining practicality with cheeky design, soft elegance, and precious fabrics.

Uroš Topić is a young Slovenian artist, fashion and textile designer, focusing on contemporary interpretations of historical garments, prints and jacquards. He calls attention to current social issues through his satirical use of historical imagery, mostly focusing on human rights, liberty and our right to the pursuit of happiness. In spring-summer 2023 he spent a 4-month residency at Lottozero in Prato. He is currently working as textile lab manager at the Center Rog Creative Hub in Ljubljana.
