The Duomatic 80 is a double bed knitting machine with 179 needles per needle bed and is described as a fine knitter because it has a needle gauge of 5 mm and it has feeders underneath the needles both at the front and at the back. These can be selected individually and allow double-bed patterning across the entire knitting width (something no other knitting machine manufacturer has been able to offer in this form) - in conjunction with the various cam settings, this gives enormous design possibilities.
