Thermo welding is a process used for joining pieces of plastic material using heating, pressure and cooling. Plastic materials become moldable when heated above a specific temperature and harden upon cooling. The pressure applied allows molecules in the material to newly position themselves, or to bond with molecules of another part. Playing with layers, colors, and thickness you can create original new materials – and even simple flat products - out of waste.
