We are so excited to be part of 10 spaces, the exhibition that marks the opening of 5 brand new artist spaces inside the extraordinary palazzo that hosts Numeroventi, in Via dei Pandolfini 20, Florence. The show will be open only this Sunday, March 26th, from 10 am - 7 pm.
8 artists and designers have been invited to share their work as site specific installations, which they will produce during their residencies at Numeroventi, Don't miss it, it will only last one day.
Lottozero is a female founded, female run and female supporting company and therefore we will be joining the Women's strike on March 8th. That means we will not be taking meetings, we will not read or answer our emails and we will dedicate our social media to a cause we support with all our hearts, for 24 hours. Spread the word!
We are helping our friends at Kunstmeranoarte to find weavers from all over Italy, who want seize the opportunity to participate in this outstanding collective art project.

We are back with some exciting news...we'll be holding a creative design methodology workshop for the elaboration of archives and collections!
The workshop "Re/collection: approaching the archive" is organized by the Museo del Tessuto Foundation in during the last days of its exhibition "Across Art and Fashion", visible at the Museum until the 19th of February 2017.
The workshop will be held on Saturday, February 18th from 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, February 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Design Lab of the Museo del Tessuto Prato, as part of the activities of the European project TCBL led by the Municipality of Prato.
Starting from the collection on display in the exhibition "Across Art and Fashion" the creative design methodology workshop is aimed at providing participants with tools for re-elaborating archive material and collections and using it as basis of inspiration and starting point for new projects.
Target: The workshop is open to design school students (textile/interior/graphic) and fashion, young freelance designers of all disciplines, operators and employees of textile companies, and anyone who feels the need to renew their creative processes by adding the dimension of working with collections and archives of the past.
Topics:
- How to observe the collection: see and be inspired
- Pattern as an interpretative key
- Recognizing the identity and the main characteristics of the collection objects
- Working with the archive: references and contemporary examples
- Dexterity and practice: interpreting the artifact through deconstruction
- Mark making;
- The application of experimental practices to production activities of the participating designers
This is something we are really excited about and that we are definitely going to.
The Textile Academy Bootcamp, an in depth intensive 5 days textile fabrication course meant for creatives, fashion and textile designers, teachers and students and digital fabrication experts.

In our hometown of Prato in the heart of Chinatown, with our friends over at Chì-na, with food from Lottozero fave, Cibino ...this will not be your classic Christmas Market, we are so happy and excited to be part of this first edition Saturday the 17th and Sunday the 18th of December from 10:30 am - 8:30 pm
After winning the Tuscan leg of the first edition of PREMIO CAMBIAMENTI, we were chosen to be one of the 15th finalist to go to Rome to present our project in front of the national assembly of the CNA one of the largest Italian artisan associations. Tessa did an amazing job but we didn't win the final prize. Oh well, it was still a wonderful perfect experience.
After almost five weeks of visits, events, talks our opening exhibition INSIDE LOTTOZERO is closing on November 20th.
We will be having a small Finissage event for you in our international headquarters in via Arno 10, in Prato on Saturday November 19th at 11 a.m.
We thank all our friends and visitors who have helped make this time so special, we loved the opening events and couldn't believe how many of you came.

We are so happy and proud to invite you to the OPENING event of Lottozero on October 15th in Prato Italy. This is going to be a unique experience and an incredible night.
We will open the doors to our newly refurbished textile laboratories starting at 6 p.m. with INSIDE LOTTOZERO an exciting exhibition with 13 artists from all over Europe and their work exploring the use of textile material in contemporary art.
There will be art, music, food, drink and performance. And starting at midnight there will be a sleep concert, with 6 musicians taking their turn performing through the night so that you can drift in and out of light sleep.
Thanks to our mediapartner, Radio Papesse you will be able to listen to the sleep concert in live streaming while you are in your own bed at home, from anywhere in the world.
