About ABOUT A WORKER

About A Worker’s collections are designed by the workers of companies operating in the fashion industry. French designer Kim Hou leads them through targeted workshops, which allow them to design clothes inspired by their vision of their work and the industry of which they are part of, as well as their personal stories, thus participating personally in the design and development phases, usually the exclusive prerogative of the designer.

ALTERNATIVE FASHION SYSTEMS

About A Worker’s fashion collections do not follow seasons but the countries where the production takes place. It has the ambition to travel where fashion has deep social, economic and environmental impacts.
The brand exposes the unheard stories of the fashion world, while promoting responsible craftsmaking of local laboratories and factories.

Conceived as an in-depth examination that retraces the four collections created over the years by the French duo, the exhibition itinerary unfolds within an industrial iron matrix, a unique environment in which the visitor is invited to enter and discover some of the iconic pieces of About A Worker, the processes of inclusion and the stories that led to their creation.
